PSATs and Other Stressors
Posted in Uncategorized on 10/16/2007 12:57 am by LauraI have the PSATs on Wednesday again. I don’t know how to explain those but at my school we take them every year and I think Junior year is when it counts. Luckly, it is early release day and I go to none of my classes. What I am wondering though, is how are they gonna fit everyone in the cafeteria in 3 lunch blocks. Seriously, we usually have 5 on regular days and it is still crowded. I think Wednesday will be complete chaos.
Fortunately, Wednesday is no practice! I had an exhibition at a local competition but we didn’t compete because we were going to Grand Nationals. I had the worst show ever and hope it will be only one out of any colorguard performances (if I continue). Practically, all Saturday morning and afternoon we did drill. Drill is places we walk/march to in the show to make shapes or places we go to in a certain amount of counts.
I should probably stop talking about that before I confuse my visitors and I have a question. Does anyone visit my blog often (or if I ever update)? Because I noticed I don’t have the rss feed up and if anyone is I would gladly put a link up for them. Secondly, I would appreciate any suggestions to improve my blog and other parts of my website. Yes, I don’t have much and I don’t have a ton of time but it would help me so much.
Until another day…

Good luck with your PSATs. Wow, you must have a lot of students at your school if you can’t fit in the cafeteria in three lunch blocks. My school has a couple thousand, but most people don’t eat at the caf.
Hm, well you should probably consider putting more content. You could just slap together some icons or something. I think it just looks good to have some graphic content. There are also tonnes of easy copy and paste reads that you can have on your site.
Hope you do well in your shows :).

My school’s PSATs are for sophomores only and you have to pay to take it if you’re older than a soph. I didn’t take it though, cos of a technicality =P You have 5 lunch periods? Wow! My school only has three but it’s always crowded :S
my school has colourguard too =] it’s all tied in with the marching band though.

I hated all things related to PSATs, SATs, ACTs, and SAT IIs! I hate how those stupid tests are worded! Annoying. Good luck with yours

I always thought you guys had different lunch breaks, but I wasn’t sure!
Now I know, lol. Wow, though. 5 is alot! You must have so many kids at your school.
During our recess and lunch breaks we just hang out around the school anywhere we like, really, though you have to be outside!

Geez I hated the PSATs. I took them three times. It was awful, but they really did help me do better on my SATs. Only had to take them once

PSATs? I don’t even know if I took those. High school was such a blur for me, though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I took them drunk.

An RSS is generally a must-have for any blog, so yes… that’s a good idea to give your readers the option to subscribe to updates.
I like this layout… but I like generally like some gray in any layout.
