If you've lost your confidence, then enroll in a driving school rather than vacationing next year. You'll be able to brush up on all the skills, get the hours you need, and it will result in a whole lot of confidence on your part. I got into an accident about a month after I got my license but I definitely learned from my mistake. Just like any other thing, accidents are going to happen, but once you've been on the road for a while you'll know how to drive more defensively, that's why they require the hours.
