1st Day of School
Posted in school on 08/14/2007 01:32 am by LauraHey everyone! I am planning to update more since school is back. Well, attempt to because I may be a bit more busy now. To those not on facebook, reading this off my website: I will try to comment back to you all but don’t exactly count on it. I get off track really easy.
Today, I went to school on the same bus I had last year. It was really easy to remember where my bus parks since its the same spot as last year in the afternoons. I went to my new homeroom (the other guy left so we had to switch). We got assigned seats
I dislike assigned seats, and my strange friend had to sit all the way on the other side practically by himself. We lost 3 guys in homeroom and no I am sure they didn’t die or get injured.
In my first class, I accidentally went to the wrong side of the trailer where the door was lock. I felt so stupid standing around and then found out about the other doors a few minutes later. The teacher scares me, because she is so happy and crazy today. I don’t know why, but that just scares me still.
My second class was honors chemistry and the whole class was really quiet. It was so creepy since I have never had an honors class before. We watched a safety video and took notes on it. After, we worked on a take home safety video quiz. I didn’t take all the notes nor remember half of the answers on the worksheet. Its bad that I may do bad on my first assignment in my first honors class ever. You know, that video is scary. SCARY! The one with the stopper tube or whatever its called punctured the person’s hand trying to get the stopper thing on. I feel grossed out still thinking about it.
In my third class called health, we played the name game. It took forever to get through. Maybe and hour or more. We had the last lunch of the day too. But guess what made it worse, knowing barely anyone (except 2 people) and they majority were freshmen. I don’t have anything against them but was giving me a mean glare. I think they were jealous that when I mentioned I had a website as an interesting fact (myspace doesn’t count). This is more like a blog since I have no clue what to add still.
Finally, World History! I practically embarrassed myself in there. We had to write answers to these really random questions. Crumble up the sheet, throw it across the room, pick a random one up, and find the owner. One question was what was my favorite sound. I chose the sound ding and felt stupid. Over the majority of the class said music. I’m like, Okay? You said a sound. And I put ding. I still feel stupid. That isn’t the worst. No one picked up my sheet and so someone announced they found another, read off the sheet my answer ding, and I didn’t bother saying anything. I was too embarrassed. Then, she said my least favorite sound was stomping and I still didn’t do anything. The teacher took the paper and said asked whose answer had Alabama and school as a place they visited over the summer. Once again, I did nothing. They said no one would be stupid to admit that was theirs if they went to Alabama. I seriously wanted to die after someone said that was mine.
I was practically hiding under the desk after that. Then the bell rang and yay… school was done! I got guard practice tomorrow.
